LADY MIDI
LANGUEDOC REVISITED
The thousand-year-old vineyards of Languedoc-Roussillon make up the largest and most traditional wine-producing region in the world. In Appellations d'Origine Contrôléecircles, the law requires wine to come from a specific terroir, to be produced with a particular encépagement (mix of grape varieties) and to have a very limited output, all while adhering to very strict rules governing the vinification process.
The main grape varieties used in this region are Grenache Noir, Carignan, Syrah and Mourvèdre. They produce deep-coloured, well-structured wines with spicy aromas.
The idea behind "Languedoc Revisted" is to look at the wines from Languedoc in a new light, and our Lady Midi range is made up of some specially-adapted wines that are well-rounded, full of fruit and silky tannins, and with all the typical characteristics of this terroir.
The wines are bottled in the region where they are produced, in the "Languedoc" bottle bearing the stylized cross of the region that allows them to proudly proclaim the identity as well as offering an additional guarantee of quality.
