The Company was formed by the merger of two complementary businesses :

• Somacvins, a wine trading company set up by Jean Ferrandiz in August 1976.

• D.F. Service , a wine sales and export company set up by his daughter in February 1983.

When Jean Ferrandiz retired in 1987, the two companies were merged, Andrée Ferrandiz becoming Managing Director, as she still is today.
